Hugh Rathbone has joined as chief commercial officer and Mark Wrighton as marketing leader.
Hugh, a former Officer in the Royal Navy, has extensive international experience in household products and beauty care, ranging from global purchasing to commercial director for P&G Haircare Europe. He is a brand builder, who has successfully led many multi-functional teams for new brand and product launches.
Hugh will focus on commercialising Aqdot’s innovative and superior odour capture technology and emulsification chemistry through a range of business models including License & Supply, and DTC.
Hugh said “After 6 years of development bringing exceptional chemistry from the labs of Cambridge to scaled up production capability and proving its superior performance across a wide range of applications, Aqdot is at an exciting inflection point.
“With a handful of well-known international customers signed-up, and collaborations with a wide variety of potential customers already in place, the company is ready for rapid growth.

A highly skilled marketeer, Mark has an international background in B2B marketing and B2C brand development with experience developing, commercialising and communicating breakthrough product innovation in the food ingredients, personal care, and household categories for leading businesses including PZ Cussons, Church & Dwight, and Cargill.
