Leeds-based manufacturer, Vantage Motorhomes, has won a total of five awards in a national satisfaction survey run by magazines Practical Motorhome and Practical Caravan, along with the Camping and Caravanning Club. This is the seventh year in a row that Vantage Motorhomes has been a winner in the highly regarded Owner Satisfaction Awards. The annual awards named Vantage Motorhomes, Best Supplying Dealer New Motorhomes and Best Manufacturer Pre-Owned Motorhomes. The awards are well established and the results are highly regarded in the industry. They are coveted by businesses because they are voted for by verified owners.
‘These awards are the ones that mean the most to us because they are voted for by motorhome owners,’ said Michael Hardicker, MD of Vantage Motorhomes. ‘They are the people using the vehicles and dealing with the companies so their opinion is what really matters. We’re an independent business with our factory showroom in the centre of Leeds. We are a relatively small business compared to other manufacturers and international brands in the same categories, so it makes the awards even more special. We’d like to say a big thank you to everyone who voted for us. It’s a great result for everyone at the factory and for our sales and support team, and a great start to the year.’
TV presenter Julia Bradbury, who is President of the Camping and Caravanning Club, was on hand to present the awards at the Midland Hotel in Manchester on the evening of 17 January. As in previous years, winners were crowned based entirely on the feedback given by the thousands of Club members and Practical Caravan and Practical Motorhome readers who completed the 2019 Owner Satisfaction Survey, which ran from February to November 2018.
Alastair Lewis, Managing Director (Hobbies) at Future Publishing, the publisher of both Practical magazine titles said, ‘This survey is an invaluable tool both for readers keen to get insight from other owners and for the industry to help them continue to deliver great vans and motorhomes and the highest levels of service for their customers. This year we received more responses than ever before.’
Vantage Motorhomes started manufacturing panel van conversions in 2007. There are 10 motorhomes in the Vantage range, all designed to accommodate two people. They range from five metres to just under six and a half metres with a choice of layouts.
The Company also picked up Gold Awards in three further categories, New Motorhomes Best Manufacturer (Direct Sales), Pre-Owned Motorhomes Best Manufacturer (Direct Sales) and New Motorhomes Best Supplying Dealer. The Vantage Motorhomes factory showroom is located in central Leeds where customers are encouraged to visit the factory and have a real hands-on experience to ensure they choose the best motorhome for their needs.
