Leeds-based Vantage Motorhomes Holds Event At Factory Showroom 13-18 October

The six-day Vantage at Home event at the Company's factory showroom is due to the motorhome industry's biggest event of the year, the October Motorhome & Caravan Show at the NEC, being cancelled.

Leeds-based Vantage Motorhomes Holds Event At Factory Showroom 13-18 October

"There are different areas throughout the factory and inside and outside of the showroom that are well spaced out, and there will be several of the team on hand to help."
Michael Hardicker, MD Vantage Motorhomes

The Vantage event will be appointment-based and the team is inviting customers to visit them for a Covid-19-safe factory tour and a chance to look behind the scenes and see what is involved in the manufacturing process. Customers who in normal circumstances would be visiting Vantage at their stand at the annual NEC show, can have a different experience this year viewing the full Vantage range and getting an insight into the work of the craftsmen building their award-winning moorhomes.

Michael Hardicker, MD Vantage Motorhomes explains, ‘There are different areas throughout the factory and inside and outside of the showroom that are well spaced out, and there will be several of the team on hand to help. There will be ongoing sanitizing, social distancing and the provision of masks, if needed. Safety is a priority and you can trust Vantage to put customer safety first.’

As Vantage is a manufacturer customers get to speak with the people who actually build the motorhomes. There are areas in the factory that demonstrate different stages of the process, whether it be the boarding out of the floors, the precision cutting of all woodwork or the neatness and attention to detail with the electrics and cabling that are usually hidden by the panels.  Visitors will see the quality of the materials used and the craftsmanship that Vantage has built its reputation on. Vantage consistently tops customer satisfaction polls year after year.

‘The NEC shows are always extremely busy, and we often don’t get to spend as much time as we’d like with customers.  Of course, it’s disappointing that the show had to be cancelled but we are going to take the opportunity to show off some of the things we can’t take to the NEC.  Seeing the manufacturing process is a bit of a revelation to some customers and they really come to understand what makes a Vantage motorhome special,’ adds Hardicker.

You can get more information or book your place by contacting Vantage at hello@vantagemotorhomes.co.uk or visit the website at www.vantagemotorhomes.co.uk .

The Company is also doing its bit to promote Yorkshire as a great location to visit in a motorhome. Visitors from outside of the area are being  encouraged to  make a long weekend of it. There are a number of sites close to the Vantage factory showroom and a lot to see in the area. Vantage is on the edge of the city centre. Leeds has all the usual city attractions and there’s plenty of great Yorkshire scenery to enjoy in every direction.

Vantage Motorhomes is an award-winning independent panel van conversion specialist manufacturing quality conversion motorhomes using the Fiat Ducato base vehicle. There are 12 models in the range, 10 of which have two berths. The latest models in the range bring some extra flexibility with four travelling seats and either three or five berths.
