"We are very excited to welcome Bjorn Again to Ffos Las, after they caused such a stir at Glastonbury this year! Fun will definitely be the name of the game."
Simon Rowlands, Ffos Las General Manager
They were last seen opening the famous Pyramid Stage at Glastonbury – now Bjorn Again are set for a big arrival in Carmarthenshire, where they will play the big summer Ladies Day event at Ffos Las racecourse.
The world’s best-known ABBA tribute act, Bjorn Again, went down a storm at Glastonbury in June this year, and now the awesome foursome will stage their arrival at Ffos Las, Trimsaran, for an afternoon of big tunes, mega-hits and singalong fun on Friday, 23 August, as part of Heatforce Ladies Day.
Ffos Las General Manager, Simon Rowlands, said: “We are very excited to welcome Bjorn Again to Ffos Las, after they caused such a stir at Glastonbury this year! Fun will definitely be the name of the game when they put on their Super Trouper of a show after an exciting afternoon of flat racing.
“Ladies Day is always special at Ffos Las and Bjorn Again will help us up the ante again this time. I’m sure there will be a number of ladies channelling Agnetha and Anni-Frid, accompanied by some Bjorns and Bennys! There will also be prizes on offer for the best dressed race-goer, including £1,000 for the best dressed lady, £500 worth of Slaters Menswear vouchers for the best dressed man, as well as other great prizes.
“As ever, we are supplying our popular shuttle bus from Llanelli train station to the racecourse, with services from 11am and return shuttles until 6:40pm, so it has never been easier to enjoy premier entertainment and great racing on your doorstep here in Carmarthenshire.”
