INNOVATIVE leisure company Inflata Nation will open its debut international site in the first half of next year amid plans to expand further afield before the end of 2019.
The Southport-based firm, which grew out of the Jump Nation trampoline arenas, is currently operating three of its own inflatable theme parks and opened its first franchise this summer.
But husband and wife owners Matt and Michelle Ball are keen to grow even further and have revealed a busy 2019 schedule as they move beyond the borders of the UK for the first time.
Michelle said: “Our first franchise site is already open in Birmingham and three more franchise locations are in development, with several others in the early stages.
“One of the new sites will be our first international franchise with plans to expand into further international markets next year.
“We are spinning quite a few plates at the moment and will be hitting the New Year with a lot of new locations coming online.”
Inflata Nation Birmingham – the biggest of its kind in the UK – opened with an exclusive VIP event in August.
Pop singer and Loose Women star Jamelia was among the first to try out the inflatable slides, assault course and Gladiator-style duel.
That was soon joined by another new arena in Beverley, near Hull, which is the first double-decker inflatable theme park in the UK and boasts the nation’s largest ball pool.
These boosted the existing stable of the original Inflata Nation in Manchester, close to the Trafford Centre, and a second complex in Runcorn, Cheshire.
The Manchester site accommodated around 100,000 ‘bouncers’ within the first four months of business, while all four businesses have created around 160 jobs.
Adding to the roster further is a new venture in Glasgow, Inflatakids, which opened earlier this month and is aimed specifically at under-12s.
Matt said: “Our model has proved successful so far and we are aiming to roll it out even further over the next 12 months.
“We believe that Inflata Nation offers not only a unique experience for our customers but is also perfectly suited to an ambitious expansion strategy and is an attractive franchise opportunity.”
Inflata Nation is currently in discussions over a handful of other ‘interesting’ sites that will offer new attractions.

The Inflata Nation brand continues to capture the public’s imagination, with the YouTube channel accumulating more than 270,000 views.
The theme parks offer a range of attractions such as huge Inflata Drop slides, climbing walls, assault course races attached to bungee cords, human Hungry Hippos games, balls pools and Total Wipeout-style bouncy balls.
They host fitness classes, disability-friendly and adults-only sessions, and also have specially designed zones for under-fours. Food and drink is available on site.
