"This should be something different for fans of soul music that are looking to kick back, enjoy a glass ofbubbly and sing the night away"
Former X Factor finalist Andy Abraham will light up Liverpool’s famous Greenroom cabaret lounge this week for a special performance.
His stop-off in the city will be his second of the year following a successful gig at the Epstein Theatre as part of his UK-wide Nat King Cole Songbook tour.
The Greenroom, co-owned by Royle Family star Ricky Tomlinson, will be hosting the reality show singer on November 15 as part of an evening of live entertainment, alongside special guests.
Andy will be treating fans to soulful renditions of some of his best-loved hits, backed by the intimate surroundings of the popular Greenroom.
“This should be something different for fans of soul music that are looking to kick back, enjoy a glass of bubbly and sing the night away,” said Andy.
“I’m looking forward to performing at the lounge. As a cabaret venue it gives everyone an up-close and personal show no matter where they are seated.
“Hopefully they’ll know my voice inside out by the end of it!”
The Greenroom, a Vegas-style 250-seater club on Duke Street in the city centre, opened in 2010 to give a platform for emerging stars in the city as well as established artists.
Over the years it has played host to a wealth of well-known names and faces, including legends like Cannon and Ball, comedian Frank Carson and 60s music stars The Merseybeats.
Now, X Factor’s Andy Abraham is thrilled to be joining an esteemed list of artists to have performed there.
It follows on from his sellout show at the Epstein Theatre in May, paying tribute to the legendary Nat King Cole.
Tickets for Andy Abraham live at The Greenroom cost £17 with a complimentary glass of bubbly on arrival.
