Will owning a motorhome change your life? Ask any motorhome owner and the answer will be a resounding yes! Figures released by the National Caravan Council (the NCC) confirm the UK’s continuing enthusiasm for motorhoming. According to the NCC, motorhome registrations rose by 11.3% last year.
This trend is also confirmed by Michaell Hardicker, MD of Signature Motorhomes and Leisure of Preston. ‘Demand for motorhomes continues to grow and we have seen a significant jump in interest already this year, and that’s despite the poor weather. We would expect the number reported by the NCC to be significantly higher for 2018.’
Signature Motorhomes & Leisure will hold its first event of the year on Saturday 21 and Sunday 22 April. The full range of Adria 2018 motorhomes will be on display at Signature’s Preston showroom, just two minutes off the M6 at Junction 31A. The Spring-into-Summer Open Weekend is an opportunity for those interested in motorhoming to get all their questions answered at a fun and friendly event. They can take all the time they need, try the beds, check out the storage, and find the model that suits them best.
Models on display will include the Adria Twin starting at just under six metres and larger models like the A Class Sonic Supreme, the Matrix and the all new Coral range (pictured above) at just over seven and a half metres long. All the Adria motorhomes at the event will be available for immediate delivery.
‘Staycations are definitely here to stay and there are so many great places to visit in the UK in a motorhome,’ said Michael Hardicker. ‘You could spend years and many happy holidays, long weekends and short breaks without even thinking about boarding a ferry or going through the Channel Tunnel. On the other hand, we have customers who have visited the Arctic Circle and Australia in their motorhomes – and just about everywhere in between!’
Signature’s motorhome event runs alongside sister Company’s (MasterCraft Boats UK) Annual Showroom Event. MasterCraft celebrates its 50th anniversary this year and there will be a stunning display of sports boats as well as some top MasterCraft wakeboarding athletes to chat to, so there really is something for all the family to enjoy.
