Cheshire Flat Cap Group Shortlisted for Industry Oscars


Cheshire based boutique hotel group Flat Cap Hotels have been nominated for three prestigious, national hotel awards. Hotel Restaurant Team of the Year for two sites and Front of House Manager of the Year.

Voted for by industry peers, The Hotel Catey Awards – known as the Oscars of the hospitality industry – are the only truly independent awards to recognise outstanding contributions to the industry.

The Vicarage, Cranage and The Bridge, Prestbury are both nominated for Hotel Restaurant Team of the Year. The team have also been nominated for Front of House Manager of the Year which is open to an individual with Front of House management responsibility, including staff from across the front of house team.

2021 sees Flat Cap Hotels in a period of unprecedented growth. Turning a tough 18 months for the hospitality industry into something astonishing, the group has jumped on the opportunity to reinvent themselves.

The company has seen a complete management restructure in recent months, and the inception of new branding that is both honest and chic.

The newly refurbished sites capture a classic and stylish aesthetic throughout the dining spaces and accommodation. Monochromatic colour palettes are complemented by warm colour accents giving a feeling of understated luxury.

Innovative, fresh and downright tasty, the restaurant menus have been carefully designed by resident Executive Chef, Steven Tuke. Championing top quality local produce for residents and guests, with clever twists on the classics as well as original concepts.

The much-anticipated launch of their renowned Courthouse Hotel in Knutsford sets the latest challenge for the skilled Flat Cap management team. Something rather special is in store for the renowned neoclassical landmark. Watch this space…
