People Matters HR Crowned HR Consultancy of the Year

Bury-based firm ends year on a high with clutch of top industry accolades

People Matters HR Crowned HR Consultancy of the Year

"Its an absolute honour to be on a continual winning streak and to be named The Corporate LiveWire HR Global Consultancy of the year really is the icing on the cake."
Niel Cope, MD People Matters HR

Leading Bury HR Consultancy People Matters HR are ending the year on a high after being crowned the Corporate LiveWire HR Consultancy of the Year in the Corporate LiveWire Global awards.

The prestigious award comes hot on the heels of scooping a clutch of top accolades over recent months.

The company, which manages the outsourced HR for some of the North West’s leading businesses, has won three top national business awards, including:

·         HR Consultants of the Year award for central England 2020/21 in the England Prestige Awards,

·         Most Outstanding HR Services Provider in the UK 2020 in the Global Excellence Awards

·         Most Trusted HR provider in the North West 2020 in the UK Enterprise awards

All three accolades celebrate small and medium-sized enterprises that have thrived and have proven their success over the past 12 months. Winners are selected via a two step process, beginning with a nomination and are then judged on a range of criteria including marketing and branding, business growth methods, online and offline exposure, customer experience and approach to new ideas.

Managing Director Niel Cope said:

“It’s an absolute honour to be on a continual winning streak and to be named The Corporate LiveWire HR Global Consultancy of the year really is the icing on the cake. We know we do a great job for our clients, and to be recognised and rewarded on a national level confirm this to the wider business community.”

In addition, earlier in the year People Matters were awarded the Theo Paphitis Small Business Sunday award, where the company was selected by the Dragon’s Den star from thousands of applicants to join an exclusive #sbs club, opening up a wealth of networking and publicity opportunities.

Award-winning People Matters HR are one of the North West’s leading consultancies offering a fresh new approach to managing HR in the SME market. The company was founded in 2011 by Niel Cope, to provide businesses across the region with a bespoke, Director-level outsourced HR solution at a fraction of the cost, allowing customers to create strong leaders, engaged teams and a better ROI. The impressive client list includes: UAP Limited, Eventura, Rowe Hankins Ltd, Z-arts, and Freedom Logistics.

At a time when the world of business has dramatically changed, the team from People Matters have been working tirelessly to keep their customers and the wider business community abreast of changes to employment schemes and legislation as they happen. The company has published regular updates and bulletins and Niel Cope has sat as an industry influencer on several live panel events. He has recently been selected to host a podcast for The Leaders Council of Great Britain and Northern Ireland Leadership with legendary footballer Sir Geoff Hurst.

Niel Cope continued:

“There is no denying that we are living through tough times, and awards such as these demonstrate that our efforts are paying off, and given myself and the team a huge boost.

“At People Matters HR, it’s our mission to transform our client’s businesses through award-winning consultancy services that increases their profits through combining outstanding innovative thinking with fantastic value.”
