Law firm, Shakespeare Martineau, is celebrating the promotion of seven legal directors and nine associates, including six at the firm’s Birmingham office. There has also been an arrival of a raft of new trainees.
The new legal directors include Andrew Rushfirth in the banking team, Justine Ball, property litigation specialist, and Jenny Walker from the real estate team, all of whom are based in the Birmingham office.
There has also been a number of associate promotions in the Birmingham office. Stewart Argo, in the commercial and IP team, Joshua Hartle, a banking specialist, and Katie Heeley in insurance and business solutions. Alongside these promotions, Shakespeare Martineau is continuing to foster new talent by welcoming a host of trainees to its offices across the UK. Joining the Birmingham office are Santina Taylor, Robin Gronbech, Sean Hazelwood and Jamilah Campbell.
In London, Sara Gibbs, clinical negligence expert, and Gareth Hegarty, part of restructuring, recoveries and insolvency have also been promoted to legal director. They are joined by Rachel Kent, from the real estate team in the Nottingham office, and Debra Burton, contentious probate specialist based in the Leicester office.
In the Leicester office, new associates include Ben Darlow and Charlotte Ellis in the real estate team, Stephanie Kyriacou, family law expert, Alex Ryan from restructuring, recoveries and insolvency, and Hema Singham, whose focus is commercial and IP law. The corporate team in Nottingham has also seen the promotion of Rachael Mitchison.
Trainees in the East Midlands include Jessica Rhodes and Charlotte Cassells, both of whom are joining the Leicester office, and Sukhpal Bhamrah in the Nottingham office. Isabelle Hugh-Jones is also joining the London office as a new trainee.
