Joe Speed heads up new Birmingham office for law firm Horwich Cohen Coghlan


Experienced personal injury lawyer Joe Speed has been selected to head up the new Birmingham office of leading law firm Horwich Cohen Coghlan. Clients across the West Midlands can now get expert legal advice following serious or complex injuries. The firm is already recruiting in the West Midlands.

HCC Solicitors (Horwich Cohen Coghlan), the Manchester-based leading personal injury law firm has launched a new office in Birmingham bringing more professional services jobs to the city.

 

The law firm, which already employs more than 250 people in Manchester, says it is on a recruitment drive in Birmingham as it launches a team specialising in major trauma and serious injury cases.

 

The new team is headed up by Birmingham-based serious injury lawyer Joe Speed.

 

Mr Speed joins the firm as a partner from Slater & Gordon where he specialised in working on high-value and complex claims and actions for clients suffering from serious brain and orthopaedic injuries. He was cited as a Next Generation Lawyer in The Legal 500, 2019.

 

HCC pioneered a Major Trauma service that launched in 2017, which supports people who have been treated under the NHS Major Trauma pathway. The service, led by partner Mike Molloy, places greater emphasis on rehabilitation for clients who have been seriously injured.
