Celsus Group sources medical talent and services to both the public and private healthcare sectors including primary care providers, NHS hospitals and local authorities and is also one of the UK’s leading providers of locum GPs. Celsus Group will be one of the latest additions to Sullivan Street’s portfolio.

Deloitte LLP provided corporate finance advice to the selling shareholders on the transaction.

Steven Raize, corporate partner at Gateley Legal, led the transaction and was supported by corporate associate Katherine Hornsby, corporate solicitor Drew Bailey, tax legal director Richard Clitherow and employment partner, Chris Thompson.

Steven said: “We are very pleased to have advised the selling shareholders on the sale of Celsus Group and adding to the number of deals we have advised on in the Human Capital sector. We wish the selling shareholders and Sullivan Street every success in the future.”

Milan Thakrar and Rakesh Thakrar, formerly of Celsus Group commented: “The team at Gateley Legal were highly professional, proactive and informative from the outset. They provided us with commercial, straight-talking and around the clock legal advice which, combined with their Human Capital sector expertise, proved invaluable.
