"We're proud to be a signatory to the Law Society's Pro Bono Charter and fully support its continued commitment to providing access to justice to those who may find it difficult to access."
The Pro Bono Charter is a Statement of Commitment for firms to demonstrate their commitment to improving access to justice for individuals and organisations who are ineligible for legal aid and unable to afford to pay for legal services.
Those clients who are accepted by Hunter & Uro as Pro Bono cases will benefit from free advice on a range of family law issues including divorce, separation, cohabitation, pre-nuptial agreements, and arrangements concerning children.
Pui Uro, Partner at Hunter & Uro, said: “We are proud to have been accepted as a signatory to the Law Society’s Pro Bono Charter and fully support its continued commitment to providing access to justice to those who may find it difficult to access. We firmly believe that justice should be available to all members of society, including vulnerable people and families from lower incomes where public funding is not accessible.”
Those who wish to be considered for Pro Bono cases with Hunter & Uro will need to undergo an assessment and provide proof that they are not eligible for public funding. For further information on Hunter & Uro, visit www.hunteranduro.co.uk or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
