This is designed to aid familiarisation for the residents replacing magnolia walls and gloss white doors, which might make it difficult for residents living with dementia to identify their own rooms.
Linden House on College Road, has received significant investment, seeing a full refurbishment of the home’s facilities.
Other features of the refurbishment include full redecoration of the home and a newly landscaped garden.
Resident’s families and friends were invited to celebrate Linden House’s relaunch party along with Epsom and Ewell’s Mayor, Councillor Neil Dallen and Mayoress Mrs Ann Dallen.
Local businesses donated raffle prizes for the special evening including Karen Millen sunglasses from Specsavers in Epsom, a voucher for Pari’s Beauty in Epsom, a voucher for Skyrah in Epsom and adventure golf for four at Horton Country Club.
Paula Windmill, home manager at Linden House, said: “I’m so pleased to see that the hard work has finally come together, and we have a beautiful new home to show for it.
“The residents are thrilled, especially by the front door-style bedroom doors in some vibrant colours.
“I’d like to say thank you to the Mayor for visiting the home and marking the occasion, we all had a wonderful evening.”

Linden House is part of Wren Retirement Living, and is currently managed by Healthcare Management Solutions.
