A well established name in the styling industry, Iwona Dahar is moving to Clitheroe to make an impact in the salon market.
Her new salon, The Ladies Room will be opening above The Men’s Room, on King Street, an already successful barber shop.
Iwona Dahar has over 20 years experience in the industry having run a thriving hairdressing salon called Tribe situated in Woking, Surrey for two decades.
Having had a long-standing association with Joseph Lanzante – owner of The Men’s Room, Iwona and husband Jason recognised the potential in this opportunity.
They relocated to Clitheroe to build their brand in the North West and to create a place for women to go for pampering and socialising.
The Ladies Room will be opening on 3 October and colour specialist, Iwona said: “This is such an exciting time for myself and my family. We wanted a change and a new challenge so we decided to relocate. I hope to achieve the success I had in Woking and to live up to The Men’s Room’s reputation.
“I hope my salon will be a place that the women of Clitheroe can come not only to be pampered but to be treated like friends. I can’t wait to start this new chapter and re-establish my hair legacy in the North West.”
Joseph Lanzante commented: “It will be strange to have a ladies salon above The Men’s Room because it has just been men here for so long we might have start minding our manners. The gentlemen of Clitheroe can still come here for treatments and enjoy the banter whilst their female associates receive treatments upstairs. I wish Iwona the best of luck and look forward to working with her in the future.”
Joseph Lanzante is a charismatic international hair stylist who has also set up a training academy in Lancashire to offer his expertise to aspiring men’s barbers to break into the fast moving market.
