Sood Marketing add another client to their hospitality roster

Passionate Laros owner has a strong message about street food

Sood Marketing add another client to their hospitality roster

"It has been our job to help multi-channel these messages using our experience and digital marketing skillset. And, I can honestly say, the food at Laros is delicious!"
Paalan Sood

Sood Marketing founder and director Paalan Sood loves talking about food, especially his mums and admits it’s one of his firm’s key target sectors in 2021/22.

The St. Helen’s-based firm was recently awarded yet another hospitality client account, this time in the shape of street food connoisseurs Laros, newly opened on Bold Street.

Paalan said: “The concept behind Laros was to deliver authentic, high- quality Greek street food. It’s a hybrid between a restaurant and a take-away, one of the first of its kind in the UK.  Their aim is to guide guests through a journey of true Greek flavours as they would enjoy in Greece and to put an end to the misconception that street food cannot be made with the finest ingredients and the care of fine dining. It has been our job to help multi-channel these messages using our experience and digital marketing skillset. And, I can honestly say, the food at Laros is delicious!”

Owner Nikolaos Fylladitakis is extremely passionate about the quality of food we eat, and about showing the British public “how we really eat at home…this is why we source the majority of our products including the meat and dairy from Greece.

“Greek food is very healthy and carries a long and heavy tradition with it. We find lots of Greek kebab houses which we all love to go to and indulge in, but they do not truly represent what we would have back home.

“For example "houmous" one of the most loved dishes by all of us, is not even Greek. It originates in the middle east and you would never have it at home, yet the majority of Greek places in the UK serve it as a Greek dish. I believe it is vital that we give credit to the origin of our food and we gain a true understanding of what we eat. In the journey of delivering our finest product, in the ease of street food and comfort of a restaurant I almost felt like it was my responsibility to show my fellow Brits how we really eat at home.”

Speaking about Laros’ relationship with Paalan and his team, Nikolaos added:

“They have been a vital part of this journey. Together we have tried to simplify the delivery of this process to the public. Working together with his invaluable team, we have been able to translate what we do in the kitchen in the most efficient way with words and pictures. The world is quickly moving more and more into the need of the internet and Paalan and his team have been of core essence in the delivery process. Together we have created a port for our guests to access our menu, our story, our journey from the comfort of their laptop and given them the ability to click and order from home for collection.”
