Following the rebrand of the popular parkland property, Sefton Park Hotel has welcomed a new member to its culinary team.

Paul Williams, 31, will join chief executive of Sefton Park Hotel, Conor O’Donovan, in his new role as head chef at the hotel’s in-house restaurant, Michelangelo’s.

After acquiring impressive culinary credibility throughout his career, catering for royals and sports officials, Paul’s role is set to strengthen the company’s on-going brand developments.

He said: “I am delighted to have become the new head chef. I believe that my cookery style will harmonise the restaurant’s ethos of being a warm and welcoming, family orientated eatery.

“I am very much looking forward to formulating a variety of new dishes over the next couple of months.”

Prior to working at Michelangelo’s, Paul has operated in a number of highly acclaimed brands including Hilton Hotels & Resorts and The Monroe Group.

Connor added: “The team and I are very grateful to have Paul on board. It will be nice to gain a fresh approach to our signature dishes, as well as expanding our menu with Paul’s new additions.

“Also, as summer is fast approaching we have many private functions coming up, such as weddings and christenings - therefore it’s great to be able to offer a wider culinary variety to our guests, thanks to Paul’s extensive gastro experience.”

Michelangelo’s Restaurant is open to residents and non-residents alike. The eatery combines wholesome dishes from a variety of global cuisines, with a warm and sincere atmosphere - creating the perfect family dining experience.
