“Vikki and Jack have both been fantastic members of our team for such a long time it is no surprise that they have been recognised.Macclesfield-based Direct Food Ingredients has crowned Vikki Ingram and Jack Holliday as their Employees of the Year.

 

Vikki who is Head of Logistics, has been awarded the prestigious title of Customer Service Employee of the Year, whilst Jack from Sales Support, takes home the award for Sales Employee of the Year, after receiving an influx of nominations from their colleagues.

 

After working for the company over the last seven years, Vikki continues to play a vital role at the firm, dispatching orders and coordinating the importation of ingredients. Jack focuses on processing the orders and purchasing ingredients, having been with the company for six years.

 

The valued team members were presented with trophies by managing director, Steve Loake.

 

The company began the Employee of the Year scheme in 2016 as a way of commending the fantastic work that their team does day in, day out. Employees nominate one another each month by listing reasons and examples as to why the person deserves the title.

 

Steve Loake, managing director at Direct Food Ingredients, said: “Vikki and Jack have both been fantastic members of our team for such a long time it is no surprise that they have been recognised.

 

“They continue to work tirelessly to ensure our customers get a high quality, seamless service, so on behalf of everyone within the company, we’d like to congratulate Vikki and Jack on their continued hard work and support.”

 

Direct Food Ingredients’ head office is located on Waters Green in the centre of Macclesfield. The business is an established leader in the importation, storage and distribution of functional foods, nutritional and sports ingredients as well as vitamin and mineral premixes.
