Macclesfield-based Direct Food Ingredients has launched a search for its chosen charity of the year.
Situated on Waters Green, the company is dedicated to raising money for various causes and is now keen to put all of its fundraising efforts into one deserving charity over the next 12 months.
The team of 16 employees have been undecided on who to pick and so are asking that local charities get in touch and help make the decision process slightly easier.
Direct Food Ingredients is the leading food, nutritional and sports ingredients distributor, and over the past 20 years its team have taken part in a range of fundraising activities on behalf of local and national charities.
Steve Loake, managing director at Direct Food Ingredients, commented: “As a company we are all passionate about giving something back to good causes. We feel that by supporting a different charity each year we can raise a substantial amount of funds that will really benefit them.
“We’re hoping that local charities in and around Macclesfield get in touch by emailing fundraising@directfood.net.”
Steve adds: “We are now looking forward to planning 12 months worth of fundraising activities that not only the team at Direct Food Ingredients can join in with, but also the local community.”
