Socially Distanced is on Menu for Good Fry Day

Extra steps taken to protect staff and customers

Socially Distanced is on Menu for Good Fry Day

"I want to make sure that we are doing everything we can to make our fish and chips not only the tastiest but also the safest."
Waseem Mir

The team at the award-winning Harbour View Fish and Chip Takeaway in Seaton Sluice have already taken the necessary COVID related steps to ensure that their staff and customers are safe when collecting their fish and chips, but now they have gone the extra mile for Easter.

Harbour View has traditionally had long queues on Good Friday and last year was the first time in the businesses history that they didn’t open at Easter due to COVID being at its height. This year however with social distancing procedures in place as well as staff PPE and protective screens, manager Waseem Mir is opening with added measures for their customers.

“ Our staff will be working outside with the public to manage any excessive queues and to take orders for specially cooked items such as Haddock while the customer is in the queue.

“We all enjoy our traditional fish and chips on Good Friday but I want to make sure that we are doing everything we can to make our fish and chips not only the tastiest but also the safest.”
