"Weve had a fantastic time celebrating the reopening, and our Walsgrave On Sowe neighbours really came out to support us."

The popular venue has been significantly refurbished throughout to create the ideal dining destination, whatever the time of day or occasion.
The interior has benefitted from the addition of contemporary tiling and a modern finish, to provide a warm and inviting environment that is perfect for family gatherings. In addition, the beer garden has been extended with added seating and the introduction of outdoor lighting.
The revamped venue on Hinckley Road reopened on Wednesday 11 December, when the celebrations began and are set to continue throughout the weekend. The Mount Pleasant Hungry Horse team also welcomed Councillor Pat Seaman to try out the new facilities.
Jamie Stevenson, general manager at the Mount Pleasant Hungry Horse, said: “We’ve had a fantastic time celebrating the reopening, and our Walsgrave On Sowe neighbours really came out to support us. Our guests are at the heart of what we do, so it was great to be able to mark the reopening with the local community.
“It was a pleasure to welcome Councillor Pat Seaman to enjoy the new offering too – they really helped to kick off the festivities. We’ve already had great feedback on the revamped interior, the team and I can’t wait to welcome new and returning visitors to the Mount Pleasant Hungry Horse very soon!”
The new-look pub will offer a range of great value food and drinks deals for locals to enjoy throughout the week, including bottles of El Mazo wine for £5 on Wednesdays, and ‘Treat the Family’ bundles for £16, available on Saturday and Sunday. Guests can choose from the Pub Faves menu, Chicken Bucket Deal or Pizza Deal, all of which come with the Ultimate Big Candymania to share.
