"Weve had a fantastic time celebrating the reopening, and our Kings Heath neighbours really came out to support us. "

The popular venue has been significantly refurbished throughout and boasts an impressive bar area, together with improved viewing facilities to host the latest sporting events.

The revamped venue on Brook Lane reopened on Wednesday 25 September when the celebrations began and continued throughout the weekend with live music. The Billesley Hungry Horse team also welcomed the Mayor of Birmingham, Councillor Mohammed Azim, to try out the new facilities.

The place to be for big games, the Billesley Hungry Horse is equipped with SKY, allowing sports fans to watch their heroes on multiple screens with high quality sound throughout the venue.

The bar area has also been enhanced with contemporary tiling and an improved drinks range, with additional cask ales now available, as well as great existing drink offers, such as two bottles for £5 and selected drinks for as little as £2.49 every day. Guests can also enjoy their drinks in the extended beer garden which features additional seating and new outdoor lighting.

In addition to an extensive drinks collection, the new-look pub will continue to offer a range of great value food and special deals for locals to enjoy throughout the week – including two meals for £8.99 Monday to Friday, curry and a drink for £5.50 on Wednesdays, plus add a drink to any burger or selected grill for £1 Monday-Friday.

Lee Coleman, co-general manager at The Billesley Hungry Horse, said: “We’ve had a fantastic time celebrating the reopening, and our King’s Heath neighbours really came out to support us. Our guests are at the heart of what we do, so it was great to be able to mark the reopening with the local community.”

Gail Coleman, co-general manager at The Billesley Hungry Horse, added: “It was a pleasure to welcome the Mayor of Birmingham, Councillor Mohammed Azim, to enjoy the new offering too – they really helped to kick off the festivities. We’ve already had great feedback on the revamped bar and the sports viewing areas, with many guests planning their next visit around the upcoming matches.

“The team and I can’t wait to welcome new and returning visitors to The Billesley Hungry Horse very soon!”
