The popular venue has been significantly refurbished throughout to create the ideal dining destination, whatever the time of day or occasion.

The popular venue has been significantly refurbished throughout and boasts an impressive experiential sports area, including pool tables, interactive darts, a shuffleboard and high-quality sound systems from multiple screens – ensuring guests can enjoy the latest sports events.

Guests can also enjoy their drinks in the extended beer garden which features additional seating and new outdoor lighting.

The revamped venue, on Victoria Road in Laindon, reopened on Wednesday 21 August where the celebrations began with live music on Friday 23 August. The Four Seasons Hungry Horse team also welcomed the Mayor of Basildon, Councillor Burton-Sampson, to try out the new facilities.

Clair Little, general manager at the Four Seasons Hungry Horse, said: “We’ve had a fantastic time celebrating the reopening and our Basildon neighbours really came out to support us. Our guests are at the heart of what we do, so it was great to be able to mark the reopening with the local community.

“We’ve already had great feedback on the refurbishment, with many guests hoping for more summer sunshine, so they can enjoy the new extended beer garden.

“This summer we’re celebrating the Great British Pub, and are excited to be home to a Burger Festival across the season. With five delicious burgers to choose from, guests will be spoilt for choice, especially on a Friday when you can enjoy buy one get one free burgers. The team and I can’t wait to welcome new and returning visitors to the Four Seasons Hungry Horse very soon!”

In addition to the new summer options, the Four Seasons Hungry Horse will continue to offer a range of great value food and special deals for guests to enjoy throughout the week – including steaks from £5 every Monday, curry and a drink for £5.50 on Wednesdays and two selected favourites for £12 on Sundays. Families can also enjoy three family deals for £15 over the summer holidays, with a choice from Treat the Family and chicken or burger bucket bundles.

Existing drinks deals are also available every day, with two bottles for £5 and drinks from as little as £2.99.
