Leonard Curtis strengthens senior advisory team in Scotand

"I am delighted to welcome Michelle to strengthen our existing capabilities - especially around business rescue - and develop the practice further across Scotland. "
Stuart Robb, Director of LCBSG in Scotland

Michelle will be based in Glasgow, heading up the advisory team together with Stuart Robb, who set up the Group’s first Scottish office in January 2017.

LCBSG has 16 offices across the UK and employs 200 staff.  Michelle becomes the latest recruit in Scotland and will be based at its Waterloo Street office in the city.

Michelle, a chartered accountant and qualified insolvency practitioner, joins as a Director in the Group’s Business Rescue and Recovery division and brings with her over 16 years’ experience in assisting distressed businesses across a wide variety of sectors - from both a restructuring and insolvency perspective.

She said: “Leonard Curtis Business Solutions Group is innovative, fast-paced and flexible in its approach and is perfectly aligned to support SME clients and their advisors in the Scottish market. I am delighted to join the LCBSG team, which provides an impressive breadth of services and support - particularly in relation to insolvency avoidance measures. There’s a real focus on turnaround and recovery, which is hugely appealing for me.”

Daniel Booth, Director at LCBSG, said: “At a time when insolvency statistics are on the rise, it is important to provide full support to business owners and their advisors. We are delighted that Michelle has joined LCBSG, which further demonstrates our commitment to developing and growing the team in Scotland.

Stuart Robb, Director of LCBSG in Scotland, said: “I am delighted to welcome Michelle to strengthen and build on our existing capabilities and develop the practice further across the country. Her addition to the team will further enhance our advisory credentials, whilst having another formal insolvency appointment taker in Scotland will be of huge benefit to us.

“To attract someone of Michelle’s calibre demonstrates just how far we have come in the last 18 months or so, in addition to our commitment to providing our clients with the best level of support possible.  We’re fast becoming the go-to specialists for an ever-increasing number of SME owners and their advisors in need of very specific advice and support at every stage of their business lifecycle. It’s great to have Michelle on board and myself and the team look forward to working with her in the years ahead.”
