The UK Chapter of PMI (Project Management Institute) the world’s leading project management organisation, is holding a series of regional Synergy events, with the first kicking off in Dundee on 11th November.
The events will celebrate PMI’s 50th anniversary, with this first regional evening taking place at the iconic Victoria & Albert Museum on Dundee’s waterfront.
Running from 5:30pm until 9:30pm, the evening will focus on "Project Delivery in the VUCA world" (VUCA: Volatile, Uncertain, Complex and Ambiguous) and will include a chance to meet with sponsors and network with local and regional businesses.
Speakers including the Edinburgh Enactus, a student society behind eight life-changing local and international social enterprises, Allan Watt, Dundee Waterfront Project Director for Dundee City Council and business coach and public speaker Sam Forsberg, will also take to the stage to offer their expertise on VUCA.

We are very excited about this first event being held in Dundee, which will be followed by other Synergy events around the UK. They will be a great chance for our members to share their expertise, network and make new contacts.”
Following the event in Dundee, the 2019 Synergy Evenings series will tour various locations throughout the UK, including Leeds on 12th November, Sunderland on 20th November and Belfast on 27th November.

The organisation has also pledged to contribute 100,000 volunteer hours to advance causes aligned with the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals and rebranded with a new logo to better reflect its new vision for the future of the organisation. PMI UK has become one of the first chapters to adopt the new branding, which includes the launch of a new look website.
