"The investment is great news for businesses, as we take out all of the hard work so that people can carry on running their business as usual, at no extra cost to themselves."
Paul Austen, MD
Congleton and Stoke based accountancy firm Paul Austen Associates has heavily invested in a new computer system in preparation for the ‘Making Tax Digital’ initiative by HMRC.
The Making Tax Digital system is a digital record and reporting log being introduced in April 2019, that will link digital records with HMRC via a specialist computer software.
MD, Paul Austen explained: “We have all of the required technology ready for the Making Tax Digital scheme, which will make compliance with the new system very easy for our clients, regardless of the nature of their business.
The new initiative is part of a government scheme, which aims to transform and modernise the way that tax systems operate by 2020.
This system will make tax administration more effective and efficient for taxpayers.
Whilst assisting individual and corporate clients in the management of their finances, Paul Austen Associates offers a full bookkeeping service, management reports and assisting and informing on payroll and VAT services.
