New UK HQ in Redhill for utilities software firm

C&C Group is relocating its Surrey head office to Redhill to provide an inspirational working environment for employees and a place to welcome its blue chip client list.

New UK HQ in Redhill for utilities software firm

"After the last 12 months, where we have all been home working, it will be a hugely welcome change, allowing us to socialise and work together as teams again. "
CEO Matt Hartley

The company, which provides market-leading software solutions and products to national UK critical infrastructure businesses, operating in the electricity, gas, water and pharma sectors, has taken 4,700 sq ft on the second floor of Orbit Southern’s Grosvenor House in the town.

C&C Group is more than just a supplier to the sectors in which its operates, the business has evolved into an integral part of those sectors. Its enterprise level software and managed services are deployed across a broad range of customers including Yorkshire Water, UK Power Networks, Severn Trent Water and Roche.

Grosvenor House in Redhill will provide its South of England employees with hugely improved facilities and proximity to mainline train and other public transport services.

C&C Group are currently fitting out the space to suit a post-pandemic return to work and new flexible home and office working patterns, with a focus on creating more collaboration areas for people when they are in the office. Fit out specialists TDA Interiors have designed an eye-catching, high quality customer zone and are using see- through partitions to give a sense of space in breakout areas. Sound dampening light barriers, casual stand up meeting zones, as well as two and four-person booths, and stylish Amtico flooring for walkways, will provide workspace fit for a successful, market-leading business.

The space also includes a 12-person boardroom / meeting room with elite conferencing facilities and work zones with high quality furniture, sound partitions to create areas for different teams. It is designed to get the best from open plan working while reducing noise.

The property has good private and public parking – with cycle storage and showers - and high performance broadband. Redhill has a bustling town centre with access to many green open spaces.

CEO Matt Hartley said he was delighted with the new accommodation. “I think it will be a joy to work in, as well as a place we can be proud to bring customers into.  We are looking forward to moving in. After the last 12 months, where we have all been home working, it will be a hugely welcome change, allowing us to socialise and work together as teams again.”

Matt commented that Orbit Southern’s team on the ground had been supportive throughout the move: “It has been a major change for our business and they have helped us deal with the various challenges along the way. We look forward to developing our relationship going forward.”

Orbit Southern’s Leasing Director Willem Janssen said that it was great to welcome a company of C&C Group’s calibre into the building. “The planned fit out looks amazing and will turn a quality workspace into a remarkable one, specifically tailored to their needs, and located in Redhill with great transport links, leafy spaces and excellent amenities for staff and customers. We wish them every success.”
