Miller Homes is celebrating after Coppull local, Andy Halladay, site manager for Croston Meadow in Leyland, was awarded Runner Up prize at the NHBC Pride in the Job Supreme Awards dinner in London recently.  At the end of last year, Andy was also crowned North West champion at the NHBC Pride in the Job Awards lunch in Manchester, having been up against 40 other site managers in the region.

It is down to Andy’s care and attention, that the house builder has been awarded 5 star builder status by the Home Builders Federation – also meaning over 90% its homeowners would recommend the company.

Ian Smith, MD for Miller Homes in the North West said, “To be recognised nationally at this level from amongst the tens of thousands of site managers who participate in the competition across the whole of the UK is a great accolade.  Andy is a true credit to Miller Homes.”

Andy Halladay, Site Manager for Croston Meadow in Leyland adds, “I’ve been a part of the Miller Homes North West team for over 17 years since starting as an apprentice joiner.  I’m incredibly proud of my journey and it’s amazing to have reached the final stage of the NHBC Pride in the Job awards.”

The NHBC Awards recognise top achievements from the best site managers in the region who contribute to the growth of quality homes in the UK.  The NHBC Pride in the Job Awards are highly prestigious in the house-building industry.  Site managers are judged on several factors including consistency of high standards, leadership, technical expertise and interpretation.

Croston Meadow in Farrington Moss is surrounded by mature trees and natural green spaces, with a blend of rural appeal and access to local amenities.  The development is just a fifteen minute walk from Leyland’s town centre and close to access for commuter routes on the motorways.
