Construction is underway on a new housing development in Nuneaton.
The Eaton Place development is being created on land off Higham Road by Persimmon Homes North Midlands and will generate inward investment as a result of the construction of 453 new homes.
Residents of Nuneaton are set to benefit from more than £6.7million of infrastructure investment, thanks to the development.
Substantial investment will be made in education, public transport, public open space, economic improvements and healthcare, thanks in part to contributions being made by developer Persimmon Homes.
The company’s senior planner, Louise Ward, said: “As a responsible builder, whenever we start working within a community, we look at ways to support local people and infrastructure.
“These Section 106 contributions are connected with the planning permission and, in the case of our Eaton Place development, this will contribute a significant amount of funding to improve and enhance local life.”
