Promain UK Ltd is expanding its presence and entering new markets after securing a deal with a global manufacturer.
The Hitchin, Hertfordshire-based company has partnered with coatings firm Teknos, which has seen Promain extend its product range as a distributor for TeknosPro products.
Established in 1948, Teknos is one of Finland’s largest family-owned businesses and manufacturer of paints and coatings for industry and the home. Its TeknosPro range of coatings support tradespeople and are specifically designed for metal, wood and masonry surfaces.
Promain previously distributed a vast range of steel coatings products, but this partnership has allowed the company to extend its range of coatings and increase the products it offers for timber.
Mark French, Director of Promain UK Ltd, said: “This is an exciting partnership and allows Promain to enter new markets and serve even more customers. Teknos is a well-renowned, global company, which offers a range of innovative products that complement our existing paints and coatings.
“Our previous focus was predominately supplying the steel protection market, and this deal allows us to serve up and coming markets, such as timber protection and coatings, which will support our long-term scale-up ambitions.
