An under-eights football team in High Wycombe has scored a new shirt sponsor, with a Cash Converters franchisee signing a deal with the young team.
Carl Murray, who heads up the largest worldwide franchise of Cash Converters - Capital Cash Ltd, has agreed to throw support behind Hughenden Valley FC under-eights team.
The firm will sponsor the team’s training kit and has signed a deal to support its full kit in the new season.
Michael Suter, Head of Pawnbroking & Jewellery for Capital Cash presented the team with their training tops for the current season. He said: “We’re incredibly pleased to be able to help out the team at Hughenden Valley FC and give something back to such a fantastic community.
“It’s clear that the team’s coaches and staff work hard to develop youngsters in the area, so we’re looking forward to a continuing relationship with the club. It’s a great pleasure to be sponsoring the next generation of footballing talent!”
Hughenden Valley FC has been an established club in the area since 1974 and is an FA Standard Chartered Club. The club is partnered with the Rifti Valley Soccer Academy in Nairobi, Kenya.
Ashish Bhardwaj, Head Coach at HVFC, said: “Children start to develop confidence in the game at such a young age, so we’re proud to be promoting grass roots football within the local community. We understand the importance of encouraging sportsmanship from a young age, all whilst having a bit of fun in the process.
“We’re an incredibly family orientated club and have such a variety of talent – including a few stars in the making – so we’re really excited to have a national brand sponsoring our shirts.
“The under-eights are a passionate team of footballers and are truly committed to their training and matches - whatever the weather. Win or lose, it’s all about enjoying the game!”
Cash Converters is a franchisee-run organisation with ambitions to expand over the next five years opening further stores across the UK.
