Liverpool funeral home commemorates Fathers Day


Co-ops Priory Lodge Funeralcare is marking Fathers Day with a community event to help commemorate much-loved fathers, grandfathers and other special people who have passed away.

The Anfield branch of Co-op Funeralcare, located in Anfield Cemetery and Crematorium, will be open to the public from 10am-1pm on Father’s Day (June 16).  

Colleagues will be handing out handmade bookmarks featuring Father’s Day poems for members of the local community to take.  

There will also be tea and coffee available, and an opportunity to talk to colleagues, who are experts in delivering a sensitive, caring and professional service for families within their local communities. 

Thanks to Co-op's 1% scheme, a total of £19m has been raised for key local causes across the UK since November 2017.
