Local Volvo Retailer Jump-ers for Joy

"There have been some cracking Christmas jumpers in previous years, so I cannot wait to see what the team comes up with next!"

The team at a York Volvo retailer is embarking on a quirky charity endeavour to help Save the Children this December.

The team at Ray Chapman Motors on Great North Way will be donning their cheesiest Christmas jumpers and collecting donations for scrumptious mince pies and cakes for the charity on Friday 14 December.

Speaking about the event, Ray Chapman said: “Save the Children is a fantastic cause so I’m really pleased that we will be participating in Christmas Jumper Day again this year.

“Every little really does help, even a £2 donation can help pay for antibiotics for five sick children, so we’re hoping members of the community will join us for a mince pie and some festive tunes on Friday.
