The second leg of the McLintocks charity golf league competition – which raises funds for Nightingale House - got underway on June 10th at Chester Golf Club on a gloriously warm sunny evening.

Some 18 individual teams from BA Commercial, Jolliffe & Co, Illingworth Seddon, Allington Hughes Law, McLintocks Chartered Accountants, Aaron & Partners, Nat West, Barclays, Walker Smith Way, Handelsbanken, HSBC, McLintocks Wealth Management, DTM Legal and Knights LLP all entered the fray.

The course was immaculate and scores of 38 points from both David Barker of Handelsbanken and Louie Middlehurst of Allington Hughes led the way with Mike Caputo of McLintocks in third on 34 points. So after two rounds Allington Hughes are in front with 70 points with McLintocks and Handelsbanken joint second on 66 points.

Mike Caputo, Director at McLintocks, said: “We are so enjoying the company and support of our fellow professionals for this charity league. We had a fabulous evening's golf at the immaculate Chester course, all helping towards such a good cause.”

The McLintocks golf league pits Chester estate agents, bankers, accountants, financial planners and lawyers against each other on the golf course to raise funds for the Hospice.
